Our motto is ‘every skin condition’ has a root cause especially in regards to infection and tunnel formation. Our opinion of stage 3 HS (tunnel formation stage) is absolutely preventable. This occurs when prolonged infection remains in the dermal layers which can be life threatening. Often regular dermatologist / skin clinics provide little education to patients in preventative measure or adequate skincare instruction, thus leading to stage 3 HS., only providing temporary relief by drainage techniques and continual medication.
It is necessary for patients to receive professional treatment as soon as possible during the 1st or second stage to prevent progression, by eliminating the infection and bacteria from the root cause, often deep within the dermal structures.
